CHM was enlisted by a prominent real estate developer and owner to oversee the pre-opening efforts and actively asset manage the W Atlanta Downtown Hotel & Residences, slated to open in January 2009. The W Atlanta Downtown will represent the fourth and newest W Hotel in Greater Atlanta and is being developed as part of a $1.95 billion mixed-used project, and features 237 guestrooms and 75 luxury condominium units in downtown’s Allen Plaza. During the pre-opening phase, CHM will actively assist in the final contract negotiations, as well as assist in the selection of key executive committee team members and closely monitor pre-opening sales and operational ramp-up activity, including market positioning and budget development. Upon opening, CHM will assume the active role of hotel asset manager, including establishing reporting requirements, monitoring and implementation of key strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing hotel value in investment returns.
