One of four Starwood hotels situated on Waikiki Beach under CHM’s asset management in partnership with Kyo-ya Hotels, the 793-room Moana Surfrider - A Westin Resort & Spa is also known as the “First Lady of Waikiki.” This historical landmark resort, opened in 1901, recently completed a four-year renovation project and went on to win the award for the best historic renovation in Hawaii. The team provides ongoing asset management of the property, including operation oversight, strategic planning, cost containment and revenue enhancement initiative implementation and capital expenditure planning. This beachfront resort has over 20,000 square feet of meeting and function space, three restaurants and lounges, a beachfront spa and a comprehensive business center that services the other Starwood hotels on the beach.
The Moana Surfrider is part of a unique collection of hotels, collectively referred to as
Kyo-ya Hotels, extending from Florida to Hawaii and representing both urban and destination resort properties.
