CHM serves as the QPAM of The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, representing the largest asset comprising the Diplomat Properties Limited Partnership (DPLP) portfolio. Upon assuming responsibility in early 2006, CHM has been responsible for numerous investment management decisions impacting this property. These include working in tandem with the operating team on capital project planning, developing and implementing strategic asset plans and monitoring all aspects of the hotel’s performance to optimize asset value and overall realized investment returns for its owner. CHM is also actively involved in enhancing asset value through overseeing the entitlements process and construction planning of various development sites in and around the resort. Developed on the site of its historic namesake in 2002, the Westin Diplomat stands as an architectural landmark and is among South Florida’s finest resort destinations. This oceanfront resort stands 39 stories and offers 998 guestrooms, beach and recreational activities and a 200,000 square-foot convention center, representing the largest and most complete meeting venues operating in South Florida today. The property offers a total of nine food and beverage outlets located in the hotel, across the street at the Diplomat Landing and at The Diplomat Country Club. Resort guests also have access to an award winning Joe Lee-designed golf course, a 30,000-square foot full-service spa and tennis center, available at The Diplomat Country Club.
