CHM serves as the QPAM of The Diplomat Country Club & Spa, an exclusive European-style inn, spa and golf course owned and operated as part of the Diplomat Properties Limited Partnership (DPLP) portfolio. Upon assuming responsibility in early 2006, CHM has been responsible for numerous investment management decisions impacting this property. These include on-going hold/sell analyses, capital project planning, developing and implementing strategic asset plans, and working with the operating team on all aspects of the hotel’s performance to optimize asset value and overall realized investment returns for its owner. In addition to the typical asset management oversight, CHM has been particularly focused on identifying additional development opportunities in and around the golf course. CHM is actively engaged in the entitlements process, which if successfully completed is anticipated to add significant value to the asset. The Diplomat consists of 60 boutique-style guestrooms, an award winning Joe Lee-designed 18-hole golf course, a 30,000-square foot full-service spa and a 10-court tennis center.
